Who is Stone Street for?
Stone Street is built for:

Is Stone Street free to join?
Yes. Creating an account and profile is free for both creatives and clients.
Optional premium or VIP features are available, but you can join, explore, and connect at no cost.
Is Stone Street available worldwide?
Yes. Stone Street supports users globally, with location-based discovery to help you find or be found locally—or anywhere in the world.
Profiles & Portfolios
Why isn’t my profile showing up in search?
Your profile may not appear if:
- It’s incomplete
- No portfolio images have been added
- Your location or specialties are missing
Completing your profile helps ensure you appear in relevant searches.
Can I update my portfolio later?
Yes. You can add, remove, or rearrange portfolio images at any time from your profile settings.
Can creatives list multiple services or specialties?
Yes. Creatives can select multiple specialties so clients can discover them for different types of work.
Discovery & Search
How do clients find creatives on Stone Street?
Clients can discover creatives through:
- Location-based search
- Specialty and service filters
- Profile browsing
- Casting calls
Stone Street surfaces relevant creatives—not just promoted profiles.
Can I search outside my city?
Yes. You can search anywhere—ideal for destination shoots, travel sessions, or events in other locations.
How do I know who’s a good fit?
We recommend reviewing:
- Portfolio consistency and style
- Reviews (if available)
- Clear specialties and service details
- Location or travel notes
- Responsiveness in messaging

Messaging & Bookings
How does messaging work?
Once you view a profile, you can message directly through Stone Street.
All conversations stay secure and organized in-app.
Do I need an account to message someone?
Yes. Messaging requires an account so conversations remain secure and tied to real profiles.
What should I include in my first message?
A great first message includes:
- Type of shoot
- Location
- Date or date range
- Budget range (optional but helpful)
- Style or inspiration notes
Am I required to accept every inquiry?
No. Creatives are always in control of which inquiries they respond to or accept.
Payments, Pricing & Payouts
Does Stone Street handle payments?
Payment features may vary by region.
- Clients can pay using Apple Pay or Google Pay
- Creative payouts are handled through Stripe / Link, if available in your region
We recommend checking payout availability before accepting in-app bookings. Stone Street is focused on expanding access while prioritizing security.
Are there platform fees?
- Creatives do not pay platform fees
- Clients may pay a small booking or processing fee
Details are always shown clearly before checkout.
What about cancellations or rescheduling?
Cancellations can be initiated in-app.
Rescheduling is handled through messaging.
Policies vary by creative and should be discussed before confirming a booking.
Casting Calls & Opportunities
What are casting calls?
Casting calls allow users to post opportunities such as:
- Hiring a photographer or videographer
- Looking for a second shooter
- Covering a client or project
Creatives can respond directly if it’s a fit.
How do I post a casting call?
Go to Casting Calls → Create, then include:
- Shoot type
- Location
- Date
- Style notes
- Budget range (optional)
Who can see casting calls?
Typically creatives on the platform. Visibility may vary depending on rollout stage or feature access.
Safety, Trust & Community
Is my information public?
Your profile is visible to other users.
Personal contact details and sensitive information are protected.
How does Stone Street prevent spam or misuse?
Stone Street prioritizes quality and professionalism.
Accounts engaging in spam, harassment, fraud, or misrepresentation may be removed.
Are creatives verified?
Stone Street is not currently verifying each individual creative, though verification tools may be introduced over time.
We encourage clients to review portfolios, communication, and reviews carefully.
What should I watch out for?
Proceed with caution if someone:
- Refuses to share basic details or portfolio work
- Pressures immediate payment without clarity
- Avoids written confirmation
- Requests sensitive personal or financial info
If something feels off, pause and report it.
Zero Tolerance Policy
Stone Street does not allow:
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Fraud or spam
- Misrepresentation
- Boundary-violating requests
Reports help keep the platform safe for everyone.
How to Use Stone Street

Review portfolios, services, bios, and availability.
Step 4: Message
Introduce yourself and share shoot details.
There’s no pressure to book—start with conversation.
Step 5: Confirm Details
Discuss pricing, availability, deliverables, and timelines in chat.
Step 6: Book with Confidence
Booking may happen:
- Directly through the app (if enabled)
- Or by coordinating directly with the creative
Always confirm terms clearly.
Optional: Post a Casting Call
Let creatives come to you by posting what you need.
